The French-German workshop "Asymptotic analysis and spectral theory" (Aspect'15) will take place at the University Paris-Sud, Orsay, France, on October 5-7, 2015. We continue the series of meetings started in 2012 (link:  previous conference in Mainz). This edition is organised by Patrick Joly (webpage), Konstantin Pankrashkin (webpage), Olaf Post (webpage) and Julien Sabin (webpage). The topics include the spectral problems in wave propagation and related areas in the operator theory and in the analysis of partial differential equations.
The meeting is supported by the Deutsch-Französische Hochschule, the Fondation mathématique Jacques Hadamard, the INRIA and the University Paris-Sud.

Young participants from the French institutions can be supported through the GDR EDP and GDR DYNQUA.
